I assume that some sort of lubrication (natural or artificial) is necessary when the clitoral hood is pulled back, completely exposing the clitoral glans.

well you dont necessarily HAVE to use any lubrication, it just makes everything not so scratchy and uncomfortable.

I, Personally, only used natural lubrication (since its kind of right there and easy to get) it makes everything a bit more smoother.
