RI Police Officer Kicks Handcuffed Woman

This is a big story going on in my state right now, the trial against the police officer is taking place. Long story short, the girl was drunk at a casino, the police arrested her and took her away. As you can see in the video below, she was handcuffed and it looks like she tried to kick the officer but the he kicks her in the head.

What are your thoughts about this?

I think the police officer should have been acting more professionally and shouldn't have kicker her back like that.

I don't think he had any right at all to do that. I don't care if he's a cop or not.

You all know he's gonna claim self defense or something in court, and he'll get off with no charges.

The cop even has a history of wrong doing...a few years back he apparently assaulted a person at a park when he was off duty because the person flipped him off.

People with anger problems... perfect cops. Sheesh.

I agree neither should have acted the way they did. Actually it looks to me that the cop basically did a natural reaction to the girl. Not that that was right.

Cops have too much power. Also, end the failed war on drugs and don't allow scent dogs to give probable cause for searches (except in places like airports).

Regardless as to whether she attempted to kick him or not he should never have kicked back. Especially while he was at work.

At first I thought that it might have been a natural reaction, but after hearing he's been known to do stuff like this I doubt it was.

No. It depends on the circumstances as anything does. In this situation it's not okay, but for either of us know there could be some situation that warrants it.

She missed him. He should have left it like that and let things happen naturally and professionally. Like her receiving a charge for attempting to assault him or something. :/
