Terrorist attacks in... Maryland?

Who cares about our dinky little state? Not even DC area...

Two packages have exploded in Maryland with Governor Martin O'Malley and the Secretary of Transportation as the intended recipients. A possible third package has been identified in downtown Baltimore. No one was seriously injured, but the hand of one mail room employee was singed and a few other people were sent to the hospital for minor injuries.

I've heard a radio station here use the word "terrorist". I have a good friend who works in the building, and she was pretty damn scared. Of course, she made time to update her Facebook status.

Yeah, glad nobody got seriously injured. I don't understand why they would want to blow someone like the Governor or the Secretary of Transportation. Strange...

Could quite possibly just be a random nutcase as opposed to a somewhat organised attack. Ok, granted "random nutcase" could be applied to most religious extremists in the world, but I'm thinking more along the lines of Disgruntled Joe in Baltimore as opposed to Jihadist Ahmed in Yemen.
