I used to be horrified by coconut crabs but now I just think they're awesome. They're really scary and I'd never want to meet one but they're awesome in theory.

Well, I'm willing to bet they don't taste like coconut. Misleading advertising really. Anyway, why would you want to eat one? They look so cool.

I'd rather meet a Coconut Crab than a Japanese Spider Crab, possibly one of the most alien looking animals on Earth - how's this for the stuff of nightmares? You can eat these ones too, although given that they are apparently not caught in great quantity due to their rarity, it probably isn't advisable.
