Question Capture video from LCD TV to Laptop

    *Ads Disappear After 100 Posts*
Hi, i want to create a montage of me and my clan playing Halo 2. I have a laptop, a VGA cord connecting my TV and my Laptop, and Fraps as a screen capturer, but Im not sure how to record the picture on the TV to my laptop.

So does anybody know what software I can use to record my TV and save it to my Laptop through a VGA cord? Thx, help appreciated !
Crossfire is a waste of money. Considering 2x4850s? Get a 4870. Considering 2x4870s? Get a 4870x2. Considering 2x4870x2s? You have too much money, I don't like you anymore.
See that? Over there, you still got an IDE, so just so you know, incase you're a dinosaur, or if you're just like the most awkward person on the planet, and you're buying like this super high tech awesome motherboard, to use your 20 MB/s IDE drive from the late 90s, it is there for you.

you could record your TV on a dvd recorder if you have one. then use a dvd converter on your laptop and import the dvd.

try asking on a tech forum like eggxpert, those guys over there can get into better detail. best of luck

Yeah if you have a VCR/recorder then use that.

Plug VCR + Xbox in, set the VCR to record the right chanel, load up Halo and BAM - hit record
