Re: Whats is like in Canada?
We have summer in Canada. So, it gets pretty warm 30C tops. And the nicest people are in the Atlantics

A man of good taste, I see.

That's kind of like asking what the U.S. is like, Canada is nearly as diverse. It varies from big, metropolitan cities. There are also cow towns.

No. Certainly a lot of the country is in a cold climate, but coastal British Columbia's climate is not that different from England's.

Canadians are probably more liberal, non-religious and mellow on average, but you couldn't tell the average Canadian from the average American, I don't imagine. But, on the part of my fellow Americans, thanks
Canadian drunks seem nicer, though. Maybe that's just my experience.

You can tell an American apart from a Canadian by the bullet wounds in most americans

Re: Whats is like in Canada?
Well we've practically had an ice age in northern Canada. But more or less we experience all the same seasons, just in varying degrees depending on the province.
Canada is a beautiful, dynamic, intelligent, cultured, and very REAL country. Sure, our politics are often dry and bereft of glitz and star power, but the local charm wins out. Anyone who comes to Canada has mostly good to say about it.
Having said all that, I would one day like to move to California and start a peach orchard, since I also love America similar to your affinity. But Canada is the love of my life!
"The intellectual world is deeply conformist. Hans Morgenthau, who was a founder of realist international relations theory, once condemned what he called “the conformist subservience to power” on the part of the intellectuals. George Orwell wrote that nationalists, who are practically the whole intellectual class of a country, not only do not disapprove of the crimes of their own state, but have the remarkable capacity not even to see them. That is correct. We talk a lot about the crimes of others. When it comes to our own crimes, we are nationalists in the Orwellian sense." - Noam Chomsky

Canada has summer. We reach 30C (about 95F I think)
Canada is full of nature. It isn't crowded.
Canada just has too many things to put into words.

I used to live in Kamloops. 40+ celsius was not uncommon in the height of summer.

That would depend on where you live. For people who aren't used to cities Montreal and Toronto seem very crowded.
Officially fabulous, and practically perfect in every way.

Re: Whats is like in Canada?
I can't imagine people would think Toronto is too big and noisy... outside of the very downtown core it's not overly ridiculous in my opinion. Other than Montreal, Vancouver and Calgary most other Canadian cities I go to feel really small and sort of boring by my standards haha.
You are the ground upon which I blizzard.
