    Default shampooing my dick.

    *Ads Disappear After 100 Posts*
When I was little (8 or 9) I used to drown my dick in shampoos, conditioners and body washes because it felt good. And now I've just realised I can't retract fully.
Could this have caused the problem or could what I used to do cause any other problems in the future?

No, nothing is wrong. You probably just have tight skin. do some stretching excercises.

I did the same thing I don't see how that would affect your foreskin in my way. You're probably just worrying too much.

Well, honestly, it depends on your age. When you're younger, your foreskin tends to be less maneuverable. As you grow older, it naturally stretches out, becomes looser, and more retractable. Like others have said, try stretching it out slowly and gently. Every Day, try to stretch it out a bit more and retract it as far as it can go, without causing any pain. Eventually your foreskin will loosen up and you should have no problem.

If you notice that your foreskin does not retract back properly and you are unable to clean the glans and inside the foreskin, you might have what is called phimosis. Phimosis is the foreskin's inability to retract back properly, being to tight at the tip to roll back over the head. If that is the case, you might want to consult your family doctor.

The shampoo and body washes won't have made any difference, you just have a tight foreskin. Try easing it back, gently, when you are in the bath or taking a shower, a little bit further over a period of time. If that doesn't work then check with your doctor who may prescribe a steroid cream to help with the stretching. In the worst case you may need to get circumcised, here in the UK doctors will only advise that as the last resort but it may be different where you live.

I can get my foreskin back half way when erect, but when I try soft I just get a boner anyway.

    No, it didn't cause it.

    Just keep on retracting.

I'm in a similar situation and I'm 13 too. If it's really bad you might need to see a doctor like I did. You can look at my blog to see what happened to me. It's not uncommon at our age. I don't think some doctors here in America know quite what to do because a lot more guys like us are uncut now. It gets better but it takes time.

The shampoo will not have done any permanent damage though it does dry the skin temporarily. If you still use shampoo on your penis I would stop - warm water is good enough for cleaning.

As for the tightness just stretch it gently and regularly and it will gradually get looser. Try to pull it back to the point where it starts to get just a little uncomfortable without really hurting. As time goes by that point will get further and further back. You can even make it fun by doing this as you masturbate.

The shampoo wouldn't affect you now.
