foreskin pull back

I'm uncircumsized. when im soft my foreskin covers the head, but not all the way, and when im hard it goes all the way back on its own. ive looked online and seen stories of people who have kept their foreskin rolled back all the time since puberty, and now it permanently stays back evenwhen soft. ive even heard them say it got shorter ( the foreskin that is). i was surprised, but i saw people reply to this persons thread and they had done this exact thing. my question is, if i were to do this, (im 17) is there any risks to it? i do like having the penis head exposed. but would it be dangerous, like with the frenulum being pulled back all the time? thanks in advance.

Well, as you grow your penis may outgrow your foreskin. Even if this isn't the case it is perfectly normal for you to have a short foreskin, not all guys have long, saggy ones. It is not dangerous to have the foreskin pulled back all the time; just look at circumcised guys, they don't have one and nothing bad happens.

That seems fine. Some people just have shorter foreskins, so it doesn't cover the glans when erect.

But there's a lot of reasons why having a foreskin covering the glans can be a good thing.
http://www.foreskin-restoration.netf...hy_restore.htm
- The foreskin covers the glans to protect it against abrasion, unwanted stimulation, drying out, keritinisation, injury and loss of sensitivity.
- The foreskin protects itself. As it consists of a double layer of folded skin the outer layer protects as it is an extension of the shaft skin whilst the inner layer is of specialised tissue similar to under the eyelids (mucous membrain) which while the penis is flacid is in contact with the glans.
- The foreskin inner layer of mucosa is full of nerve endings that are sensitive to pressure and temperature and give pleasurable sensations during sexual intercourse.
- The foreskin carries the frenar bands which are at the junction between inner and outer foreskin. These bands are circumferential and full of specialised receptors that give yet more sexual responses as they are stretched when the foreskin is retracted or during sexual intercourse.
- The inner foreskin layer secretes moisture that is lubricating, mildly anti-bacterial and moisturising for the glans which does not have this ability.
- The presence of a foreskin allows the 'gliding action' to take place during intercourse as it facilitates movement within your partner without causing abrasion and dryness. If the entrance to your partner becomes dry the penis will still glide within the moist inner parts.
- The foreskin, frenar bands, inner foreskin and frenulum (all attached) are at least as sensitive or more sensitive than the glans. To amputate the foreskin removes a considerable amount of sexual sensitivity to the point that if were not there at least HALF would be lost.

Isn't that uncomfortable?

Neither would it result in harm, nor would there be a benefit. Fill your boots.

Re: foreskin pull back
Well, that depends on whom you believe.
Some scientists believe that exposing the glans results in layers of keratin developing, dulling sensation. I think it's pretty clear that constant friction/exposure results in loss of some sensation. When people feel too sensitive, we tell them to expose it, after all.
I can't imagine why you'd want to do this, but other than that, there's no harm. And, no, your foreskin will not naturally shorten. That doesn't really make any sense.
By the way, unless it's more comfortable (I can't imagine it is), there are no real "upsides" that I can think of either.

I've gone through the same thing. Mine pretty much stays back unless I push it forward and then it covers about half the head. It started for me when I was about 10. I can't say I feel that I've had problems but I don't have much sexual experience. Everything seem to work fine.
Some guys have complained that can't keep their head exposed since their head is very sensitive but I've never had that situation unless I deliberately rub the head hard when it's wet. You didn't mention if you your head is sensitive when exposed or not but speaking from my own experience, no problems here. IMHO

Re: foreskin pull back
i heard about this a while ago, and thought i'd try to keep my foreskin retracted to see what it was like. I did it for about an hour before I couldn't take it anymore. It was too uncomfortable and everytime i walked it just hurt. Maybe it would take longer to get used to it, but it wasn't for me. I like mine covered, but good luck.

Re: foreskin pull back
It took me a good 2-3 months to get used to permanent exposure. It's not necessarily wrong, if you choose it If you are really motivated you CAN deal with it.

Re: foreskin pull back
yeah thing is the foreskin almost never fully covers the head anyhow. and when i get hard it goes all the way back, and stays back when i go soft again. this happens when im at school etc, so i end up walking around with it back anyways. ive had it back for an extended period of time and it wasnt too uncomfortable, the head isnt that sensitive.

i did it too for hygiene. it took me about a month to get used to it. of course its uncomfortable at first, my friend who got circumcised at puberty found his glans uncomfortable too, but you will get used to it as time passes
