I missed out on everything. Sometimes on the street I see teenagers hanging out and going to the movies, going to concerts, and I get so jealous.

It has been at least half a year, if not longer. I've been busy; hanging out with my friends, doing things that are probably not healthy or advisable, and trying to balance my social life with my work life. So, in essence, I am experiencing what is quintessentially known as summer vacation. While my life may not be that interesting, I have very little to really talk about beyond what has been happening to me and what I've done, so here we go...
First of all, I am taking three AP courses next year; they are AP English Language and Composition, AP American Government and Politics, and AP Psychology. I have already finished one of the two books we were assigned to read for AP Lang., and I decided to read the Constitution in preparation for AP Government. Furthermore, I am currently seeing a tutor for help with math, as my math skills are less than exceptional (basically, they're run-of-the-mill, and I'd like to improve before the next school year). I still need to get a job... I have given up hope that I'll ever find time to just sit down and think. Is this what it feels like to be an adult? To constantly feel overwhelmed with what you need to do, so much so that the present is obscured and you barely have the focus to appreciate what is happening right in front of you. I hope not; I don't know if I could handle another 70 years of this.
Well, that is really all that is on my mind. We're one month into summer, and I still need to finish so much work... I hope I can still have fun in the process. Thank you for reading, and even if you find my complaining pitiful, I hope you could provide some constructive additions to my train of thought. Possibly a response explaining adult life for those who actually have to deal with this kind of stuff all the time. I am 16 and in the middle of exams with no job, he is 18 also with no job but I want to do something romantic for him.
I have thought of making him a romantic dinner but it is impossible because I won't be able to have any alone time with him at my house so I need to buy him something that is cheap but would mean a lot to him.

We have never been on a proper date and he spends a lot of time either at home bored on his xbox or out with his only friend on his motorbike. He is not really into any sports but I know that his favourite superhero is Batman but he has the films on dvd already and he doesn't want any more xbox games...

Been revising all day today for my chemistry exam tomorrow and I'm so exhausted but have so much to do.
Ughhhhh.

Luckily, I just have 3 exams left.
*Chemistry - tomorrow.
*Maths (calculator) - Friday.
*Physics - Tuesday.

Then it'll all be over!
Then I can spend time with my boy, we can become official (I'm actually so excited omfg) and I get to spend a month in Australia plus 2 weeks in Spain.

I think I'm going to live in my new bikini until I go back to school in September.

Like seriously, I have a boss who doesn't have any design programs. Okay, I get it. Thing is though, she has a lot of flyers that need to be made and a lot of social media and advertising. I design something in an Adobe program, but she wants to be able to edit it in the future. Okay, I get that too.

She wants the Word document to look awesome like done in the Adobe programs. Okay, now I have a problem with that. It's hard to set everything up on Word and move everything around. You know what the reason for my stress towards it is? You don't have any shortcut commands and there are so many clicks involved to getting everything done and it's hard to move everything around. You don't have any rules that help snap to the guide and make the edges clean, you have to manually go over and over again dragging the text box or image until finally it goes to the right spot or it's slightly off. That slightly off could have been fixed easily in another program, but noooo I have to use Word.

Another reason for my stress is that I never really learned how to do a lot of things on Word, well kind of but not actual designing on Word like having all these textboxes, images, shapes, etc on it interacting together. I know how to do them all separately, but when it comes to making them into a design...no, just no. I also own a Mac with an older version of Word, so it has problems. I do get to use my boss' laptop from time to time, but it's still a pain knowing you can't have those shortcuts or drag your curser to highlight every object and textbox on the page.

There's this one video on YouTube called Graphic Designer vs Client that relates to what I feel right now, like to the par (caution: profanity). Cheap design, done in Microsoft Word, thinks anyone can do it, gives little information, thinking it won't take long and wanting it soon.

Since I have little design knowledge on Word, I found myself passing on part of the project to my mom to complete and sitting in a chair upside down pulling at my hair (I was off of work by then).
