I want to know if this is possible. I have a laptop that I want to use wireless. I have a wireless router and a cable modem. Is it possible to connect the router and cable modem without using another computer? I have the wireless notebook card and all but just wondering if this sort of setup is possible.

I doubt you can set it up wirelessly, because you need to set up the router on the first (In your case, nonexistant) computer first.
