autodesk inventor is a 3d drafting program used to desplay mechine parts and other stuff in 3d

autoCAD, made by the same company, is a vary simple drafting program where you draw out mechine parts in 2d, in that you are able to type in the point you want the next point of a line to be drawn by typeing the quardnite exactly like the X,Ygrids in algebra classes, i was wondering if this can be done in inventor

not a problem i just got an answere from my father, display the dimensions and edit the dimensions to change the final length(in other words the program will stretch out or shrink down the shape to match the new dimensions) if my image host would come back online id show you what i was makeing
