we are our own worst enemy cuz we have atom bombs which can cause problems in the atmosphere and also the atom bombs will kill many things including people. We are also having problems with the ozoone and global warming, if we put a hol,e in the ozone we will alll burn to death and/or die of skin cancer

Yup we'll be responsible for our own demise. Another threat is that meteor that may hit us in 2012...and I hear it has animals on it (realising the question of the topic!).

I think that smallpox will finish everyone off. I read that they can amplify it using the IL-4 gene so it becomes resistant to the vaccines.

They didn't "whip" it out completely. The US,Russian,Iraqi,and I think Germany still have the virus around, although there haven't been any cases since the late 1970's. It still doesn't mean it's not around.

That's like saying when you flip a coin that the longer you go without getting "heads" the more likely it is that the next flip will be "heads." Being hit or not being hit has no effect on whether we will be hit in the future (except for the negligible effect of one asteroid being removed if it hits earth).
