My favorite is The Man with the Golden Gun.
I loved that one!

That was a good one, although Goldfinger is usually the favorite 007 flick of all true James Bond aficionados. It's my favorite as well.

Perhaps it's just a generation thing, but I've always been more fond of the Pierce Brosnan ones than any of their predecessors. In particular I liked Golden Eye and Tomorrow Never Dies. I didn't particularly like Die Another Day, it was very over the top and unrealistic.

LOL...Die Another Day is not what I'd called over-the-top and unrealistic...most of them are like that, except for the Connery films. However, Goldeneye comes in second for me, right behind Goldfinger.

For it's day, Moonraker was way over the top too.

Yeah, I just watched Moonraker again the other day, and I'd forgotten how kooky and silly it was. At least Jaws was cool.

Well, you see, the copy I watched was a pirated DVD from Malaysia which was supposed to be viewed only for awards consideration purposes, so, I am not entirely sure whether or not it was the final, edited version. I have been told by many that it was. I found Brosnan's acting to be substandard, and there were certain scenes - like when he was in that ice buggy, and the laser was melting the cliff he was suspended from, and the buggy dropped 50 or so metres but he reacted as if it was nothing more than a minor bump. I thought it was a very different style to the previous bonds. Was it a different director?

All the most recent Bond flicks have had different directors...and I've been somewhat skeptical of their current choices, as none of them seem to be the best in the business...

Goldeneye is my favorite. To me, it was the ideal blend of the old Bond, old enemies, major destruction, along with the political realities of the modern world. Excellent film in my opinion.

Goldfinger is the best hands-down. Connery was definitely on top of his game in that one.

I found 007 very boring.

Never watched any other ones.

Dr. No, definitely, followed closely by Goldfinger. I think the Connery films are definitly the best. The Man With The Golden Gun is also really good. The best movies were the ones based on the Ian Flemming books
