The Terminator

I watched this again, the other day. Its such a great film and original at the time. I watched the second one after it and it just doesnt compare to the original. What is it about originals being better than there sequels.

I think Terminator 1 is better because it is the Human battling against the seemingly unbeatable machine. However, in the sequel it is the original terminator (good guy this time) against a more advanced machine. Doesnt seem quite as good. Post what you think and if possible tell me about the third terminator and its storyline (if you know). :) Thanks.

I used to like T2 better, but I watched both a while ago and I liked the original. It had such a better feel and didn't have the rush to end the saga that T2 had.

I dont know when its out but whats the plot? I thought it all ended in T2. Or is it focusing on the actual nuclear war and battle against the machines?

I think Parts 1 and 2 are equally as good......

Part 3 kinda sucks (The audio track leaves much to be desired for one thing)

Wow, this thread is old. Like, three years.

I can see how someone would think the original was better, better it was new and well...original. But really both 1 and 2 are quite good. 3 really should never have been made.

Thank fuck someone else agrees with me. Damn near everyone I know argues that T2>T1. We, my freind, know the truth. I love T2, but T1- with massive Arnie and Michael Beihn and a real 80s feel - is simply superior.
