Ok, so i searched this topic but i couldnt find anything so sorry if its already been covered. I was just wondering how long sperm life is...i gave my boyfriend a handjob and he cummed on my hand and i dont wanna touch myself until i know the sperm is dead because i dont want to chance getting pregnant at all...i washed my hands like five times with soap, but again, i dont wanna take any chances.

In the outside air, sperm die when the semen they're swimming in dry up. If you have washed your hands, they're gone - nothing to worry about.

While precaution is good, there's no need to be washing 5 times just to get rid of all traces of sperm. If it were that easy to get pregnant, there'd be a whole lot of virgins walking around with babies out there...

Alternatively, if the sperm if ejaculated into you, it can live inside your body for up to a week.

Sperm only live for about a week, which is strange considering that it takes longer for a sperm to mature. Once outside the body sperm die as soon as the semen they are residing in dries up. They can't stand conditions outside of the testicles without semen.
In your body, and I'm talking about fallopian tubes and uterus kind of thing, they live for about a week.
To kill them simply wash your hands with soap.
