Older sister beats me up

My sister is 18, she beats me up all the time. She doesn't do it for fun either, she really tries to harm me. She will tackle me and knee me between the legs. If her friends are over, they all beta me. My parents don't listen. What should I do??????

If for some reason your parents won't listen, then tell a trusted teacher or guidance counselor at school. This is no more right or acceptable than if a boy were doing this to his sister. But the answer is not reciprocal violence. An adult needs to put a stop to this.

Something strange I think. An 18 year old sister and a male (brother) old enough to be on Gov, so I assume you are 13 at the very least. More likely 15 or something.

I am sure you are more than capable of defending yourself or at least outrunning your sister.

Goto a police station and say you wanna press charges. They have NO choice but to take you seriously. If you think theyll laugh, say that she beats you a lot, but you refuse to fight back as shes a girl. Then say that if the police DONT do soemthing, you're going to seriously injure her next time. Tell them you will be forced to take drastic measures, like breaking her elbows.

Im sure if you say it right [not just, 'my sister hit me som ima break her elbows!'] you can make it clear to them that you fear of soon being forced to injure her in self defense. Make it clear you dont want to as shes a girld and your sister.

And seriously, press charges agaisnt her for domestic abuse.

A few video tapes wont hurt to have her locked up for a few months.

I am 14. My sister is 18. I am like 4'9 and she is 6'0. She can beat the heck out of me. I have no control. If I hit her back, she would beat me harder. If it comes to it I probably will try to beat her back. :mad:

Now you have added to this. It does look a bit like a mismatch with those heights.

It might seem strange coming from me but sometimes what all these bullies need is a belting up themselves. Maybe if it gets to the stage of frustration and you really give it to her, then don't feel too bad about it. You might need to be an "Atom Ant" but it sounds to me like she needs it.

Ahem...if she's 18 then that is a case of an adult hitting a minor. Definitely a violation of the law and enough to bring charges against her if proven. My original advice to talk to another trusted adult at school is I believe your best course.

well first i think u should try to tell her that if she hits u she could go to jail for that,but if that doesnt work then i guess u have to go to someone that can believe u and tell someone to get help. everyone that posted above have great ideas...use them try different onse..

Ok. I want to focus on this. Firstly she won't go to jail at all even for decking him every day. That won't be wist to tell her. Probably make her mock even more.

I have to agree with you that it needs to be taken outside the family. It appears to be useless there as the parents are not supervising adequately. You put that well and I hope andy1988a is able to follow it up.

OMG, that's great. But seriously, at the least go talk to someone outside your family. If you do wish to do something on your own about this, start taking a martial art; you'll be able to both defend yourself and not hurt her badly all at the same time. I think you should seriously talk to someone. I'm not going to make fun of you. I can only say that I bet that if your Sister was not related to you, then the answers would be a lot different.

I will say also that you should try to not be in the room or even house when your Sister comes, talk to your Mum, Dad, Nana, Grandad, Teacher, Counsellor or Friends. You could even talk to me or anybody on GovTeen.

You can take everyone's advice and go to some Teacher or another Adult that won't do shit but make you feel secure for a couple of days until they do it again...

sometimes you have to resort to physical violence to end something, if you don't fight back they'll keep on doing it and I'm pretty sure words will not affect them, just fight back and I gurantee they'll leave you alone and it'd be much more effective than telling someone who really doesn't care about a kid who gets beat up by females.

3) Video-Tape it, and make sure she beat's the hell out of you on camera, that will get her grounded.

4) Talk to relative's

Then make sure to be kind to your sister. Jacob was a great man and still treated Easu kindly. You should to. Even if your sister is acting with out reason.
